It's Netball Season!

The 2006 netball season began today with Erin playing for the CVPS Rubies (Cudgegong Valley Public School Rubies). It was a beautiful crisp autumn morning, just perfect for her first game ever.

Part of the rules of the "Netta" competition (8-9 yr girls) is that each position is rotated every quarter. Erin played Wing Attack, followed by Goal Attack and Goal Shooter. As there are 9 in the team, each player only plays for 3 quarters.

The Rubies defeated St Matthews Unicorns 7 goals to 4, with Erin shooting 3 of the 7 goals. She obviously follows in her mother’s footsteps!!

Erin is also enjoying the Netball All-Stars book series having read 5 of the 8 books.



















Kathryn was there all set to go for "Fun Net" for 5-7 yrs with the CVPS Pearls, unfortunately it was postponed until next week.
