Sporting Achievements!
The school held its Cross Country Carnival last week. Both girls had to run 2km. Erin was in the Junior section: 8, 9 and 10 yrs girls together, she came 6th. Kathryn was in the 7 yrs girls event (she will turn 7 in November) and we were all thrilled that Kathryn came 2nd!
Erin's netball team, CVPS Rubies, won their match yesterday 7-4 against St Matts Angels. Erin was a star in the match by shooting 5 goals out of 5 attempts for her team in the 3rd quarter. Although Netta is a great introduction to netball, under the rules each player must rotate through all the positions changing every quarter. All the team would love Erin to stay as Goal Attack the whole game, but it is not allowed.
We think it must be Bakers Delight's new Hi Fibre/Low GI bread that makes them great athletes!
